Hi, I’m Carolyn!

I’ve always been curious about what drives people, what holds them back, and what makes them thrive. As a coach, I help leaders uncover blind spots, strengthen emotional intelligence skills, and move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and alignment with their core values.

My customized approach draws from 30+ years of leadership in law, ministry, and nonprofits. I’m an ICF-certified transformational coach who partners with executives, managers, and pastors to:

  • Build healthy, values-driven leadership cultures

  • Communicate effectively up, down, and across the organization

  • Overcome limiting narratives and unhelpful patterns

  • Lead with self-awareness, courage, self-compassion, and confidence

As a 1.5-generation Korean American immigrant, I also bring a personal understanding of cultural identity, belonging, and resilience which makes me especially passionate about coaching women executives, leaders of color, and others navigating spaces where they may feel like they don’t fully fit.

Previously, I served for 17 years as Small Groups Pastor and executive team member at Calvary Community Church, growing a ministry from the ground up that engaged 2,000+ people. Earlier in my career, I worked as an attorney, experiences that sharpened my skills in analysis, communication, and advocacy; tools I now bring to my coaching work. I’m also a speaker, trainer, cohort teacher, published author, podcast host, and founding board member of the Small Group Network, which connects 30,000+ church leaders worldwide.

Whether you’re stepping into a new role or ready to lead with greater clarity and confidence, I’d love to explore how we might partner together for your good and the good of those you serve.
